Future Gardens

Our Release Garden is just one of 12 gardens chosen for the first ever Future Gardens. Independent columnist Cleve West, one of the selection judges, is looking forward to the new show:

The garden takes the visitor through an emotional journey from tension to release to equilibrium. Inspiration for the design came from the emotional and musical structure of Wagner's 'Mild und Leise'.

FUTURE GARDENS

The show is the launchpad for the Butterfly World Project, launched by Sir David Attenbourough and David Bellamy in 2008. the site is located near St Albans, close to the M1/M25 intersection. Future Gardens will be open from May to September.
